oh my, such a relief to get out of that Neon and back into my baby. I’m all smiles today.
On a side note, I was at bowling last night and I was in the bar waiting for the secretary of the league (I’m the president) because I had to sign some papers about pricing contracts and whatever. Anyway, I was talking to Nancy the bartender and I was talking about my new meds. She said my dad was in there a few weeks ago and was sitting at the bar crying about my condition. Maybe it’s him not really knowing what this is, and its not as bad as people think. I dunno, that just struck a nerve with me and made me think.

That’s kinda rough. Oddly enough, my parents were a little bit standoffish till I got my DX. Then the truth came out that my mom has had it since 1977 but hid it. Then she explained that her aunt has it and they suspect that it killed my grandma. I guess once a family gets used to this kind of thing, it’s not such a burden. Of course, when my mothers sister got it too, she had all the info and a prefab support system.
Jason had a 2002 Celica for two years that was HIS BABY!!!! He loved it, and it was a really great car. Unfortunately, it had absolutely no room in the back seat, and when he started carpooling for work, he had to get rid of it. He has a Jeep Liberty now which is a good vehicle as well, but you can tell he doesn’t love it as much as his Celica.
