  2. Good on you for quitting! I remember when I quit cold turkey I had read that it takes 5 days for the physical addicaton to end. From there forward it’s all a mind game. I replaced my newly found time with gum. Lots of it. A different flavour for different things, like cinnimon for car rides. Those car rides used to kill me. And drinking coffee without a smoke. I started srinking coffee in the car just to try to kill two birds with one stone! Anyways, good to see you back blogging and good luck with quitting!

  3. I know that quitting can be hard, when I did it I went cold turkey. I think it comes down to when you are really ready to quit. It sounds like you have made up your mind and that is what will make the difference. I agree with Kim, substitutions like gum and coffee or grapefruit juice (so I hear, I’m not a big fan personally) helps. They say it takes 21 days to create a habit good or bad…if you can make it 21 days without smoking you will be just fine, at least that is what I have heard! Good luck.
